When I bought destiny 2 pc download size legendary edition, it seems as though the disk just tells Playstation that you own the game and lets you download it meaning there is no actual content on the disk, or it's the DLCs that you need to download and are not actually on the disk? Why do they even bother selling the disk?
I know from Xbox One experience on the Advanced Warfare release, support was advising you to disconnect the Ethernet port and install from the disc. I definitely know the game is contained on discs however, once you connect to the internet it'll download the latest patch. I expect more content with this data size. No, still reflects an increase in size significantly over the vanilla base install and Destiny 2 base install. The disk is just DRM, nothing is being read off of it. This applies all games on both PS4 and Xbone. Wasn't there an article saying there isn't a disc and it's a download code inside the boxes? I could be mistaken completely. I don't think that has been said at all. I think a lot of us would like that though!
Then again What if D2 is a tremendous flop and we all want to trade in?! This is only the case for PC copies bought from Amazon. They explicitly state on the cover that they are "Download Only," but other retailers or at least, GameStop have discs. The disks help with the install, but everything is copied off of it. If you were to buy the game and all DLC digitally, destiny 2 pc download size, you have to download 70gbs or so total. If you buy the physical disc, destiny 2 pc download size, you have to download only 30gbs or so and install 40gb from the disk.
