Works great, download the xbox app. I use this app on my phone as well. Never have problems other than having to sign in every time I use it on my phone.
For windows 10, the only problem I've noticed is when the keyboard prompt comes up it doesn't feel very intuitive. I have to hit the text input box just right it seems to be able to use the keyboard. I would also like to be able to move the cursor around in apps like Microsoft Edge for the Xbox One. When I pull the app up, it works for awhile and then closes itself out.
I use it to type with my keyboard onto my xbox, it's very convenient for games that require chat. The app worked great for months then after the Christmas day issues, download the xbox app, the app won't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and now it won't even work, download the xbox app. It will try to launch and go straight to the task bar.
When I click on it goes right back to the task bar. Update now it is August and no updates for the app and still doing the same thing. Either MS needs to get their butts in gear on this or I know tons of people will be removing this from their pc. The Beta version worked fine. They then pulled that one from the store so no support there. Download the xbox app you install this and get it to work you have great luck download the xbox app might want to go buy a lotto ticket.
There isn't a whole lot about this app that I don't like. Everything about it make sense and is a wonder why we haven't had something like this sooner. I do wish you could edit your clips on a small scale. Like renaming them and things like that. Sometimes the Messaging end of it can be a little finicky, and locks up, but all in all the app works very well for me. I think a lot of how well the app works depends on how well your device communicates with your xbox via your wireless network.
I love using this to track achievments. Watch my friends game clips, and message people that way I'm not forced to spend ten minutes using the controller to write a 2 sentence message. I really like that you can adjust the notifcations based on what you want it to notify you about. I hate having to watch twitch notifications every 2 minutes and you can disable that. The fact you can navigate every aspect of live through a keyboard and mouse just makes browsing the store so much better.
The stupid app wont even download. All I keep getting is the same error code over download the xbox app over again. Please update to allow management of clubs on xbox live.
I've downloaded the app on both my phone and laptop. I can sign in, connect to my xbox, and open apps. I can hit the home button but none of the others do anything. I'm sure it could very well be an issue on my end, but it would be very helpful if the app offered some information as to why this would be happening. I think its cool download the xbox app I don't have to go to my Xbox to access these options.
